WHERE TO STAY?

Well, you can rent an apartment literally next door to the Studio BA Tango (E&E Apparments). Otherwise there are 8 apartments on aribnb located in the radius of 200m.

WHERE TO EAT?

Next door to the Studio BA Tango you have lovely Kavarna Mango, which offers breakfasts and brunches.

If you are more on a budget, you have a Mercator supermarket (local chain) and Hofer (Aldi) supermarket just across the street...

In the case of nice weather you can combine a stroll through the old par of Ljubljana (pedestrian zone starts 300m away from the Studio BA Tango) with a snack in numerous cafes at the bank of Ljubljanica river...

WHAT TO DO?

First, since your main focus (we presume) is on tango, you have a possibility to work in the Studio BA Tango before classes either individual classes with Blaz & Andrea or solo.

When you have enough of dancing you can go to a stroll in a park around the corner, to the old city centre (pedestrian zone starts 300m from Studio BA Tango) or longer walk to Ljubljana castle.

Any other questions - ask us...

ABOUT BLAZ AND ANDREA (BA TANGO)

We have a problem to write about ourselves, so here are some fast facts about our career:

Our approach to teaching of Argentine tango is through dancer's perspective of understanding the body as an instrument of creation.

If facts did not satisfy your curiosity, check the videos or read an intro of an interview with us that was published in Total Slovenia Times (here is a link to full article):

Total Slovenia Times:

"Andreja Podlogar & Blaž Bertoncelj: Tango Pioneers

Andreja Podlogar and Blaž Bertoncelj are Argentinian tango world champions, internationally acclaimed artists, innovative teachers, researchers, critical thinkers and global tango ambassadors, whose visionary work is gathered in a small dance studio lab in the centre of Ljubljana, called Studio BA Tango. Andreja and Blaž shared with us their knowledge and views on the dance itself, its historic development, their diverse work and future plans, which include an ambitious project to create a global creative platform for critical thinking, applied knowledge and development of new creative potentials in the field, starting with an international tango symposium..."
